Kennebunkport’s popular Fire + Ice celebration sold out in record time this year – but now a sponsor has come forward with some tickets they don’t need. If you missed out on the first batch of tickets sold – now is your chance!
Fire + Ice is billed as the “Perfect Ending to Kennebunkport’s Christmas Prelude” and it’s hard to disagree with that. It’s also called “the hottest ticket in town” and this year’s rapid sell-out certainly bolsters that claim.
What makes Fire + Ice so popular?
Imagine a scene of beautiful, glistening ice sculptures alive with the sparkle of Christmas lights and the ever-dancing flames of bonfires. Now add in food, drink, live music, and dancing. Starting to get the picture?
Fire + Ice is a 21-and-over event with ice and fire themed cocktails served over bars hand-carved from solid blocks of ice. Fine wines, craft beer, champagne, and non-alcoholic fare like hot cocoa will also be available. Warm snacks from local restaurants, too.
Entertainment for Fire + Ice 2017 is the popular The Carmine Terracciano Band. This big time party band out of Portland, ME boasts 3 horns, a 4 piece rhythm section, and blazing vocals. If they can’t get you up on your feet and dancing, nothing can.
The biggest attraction to Fire + Ice, however, are all the amazing and intricately carved ice sculptures. You’ll be fascinated by what a talented sculptor can make out of a simple block of ice. Not to mention how beautiful these sculptures look at night with all the fires and lights reflecting off of them.
Best of all, a portion of the proceeds from Fire + Ice goes towards local charities, making the evening a feel-good, as well as fun, event!
Fire + Ice 2017
December 8th and 9th, 2017, 5pm to – 10pm

Unfortunately, the event is so popular that tickets always sell out before you can even blink. Luckily, this year one of the sponsors has decided to sell their extra itickets. If you’re still hoping to attend and missed out, you can still go for $250 a ticket. All proceeds from the ticket sale will go towards the Culinary Program at York County Community College – and you’ll receive a tax deduction.
To acquire these last Fire + Ice tickets, make a check out to York County Community College and mail it with your name, e-mail address, and phone number to:
The Nonantum Resort

P.O. Box 2626

You can also sign up on Eventbrite’s Fire + Ice wait list for tickets. Add yourself to the wait list once for each ticket you need and, if someone cancels their order, the next person on the wait list will get the chance to buy those tickets.
