It’s almost time for Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival 2017: Saturday, September 9th and 10th, 2017. The 30th annual return of this prestigious art event promises 2 full days of juried crafts, food, music, and fun!
Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival 2017 is an annual show of more than 130 jury-selected artisans displaying fine, hand-crafted wares. Many see the festival, held each year the weekend after Labor Day, as an early holiday-gift buying event. And why not? The show provides an unequaled opportunity to purchase a variety of fine, one of a kind items. Jewelry, pottery, wood, glass, fiber arts, and so very much more.
This popular 2-day event is more than a collection of craft vendors, however. The show also features great local food and drink. In fact, two of the main sponsors are Stonewall Kitchen and Duffy’s Tavern & Grill. They and others will be on hand with a good selection of delicious food and drink. Attendees to the show will also be entertained by toe-tapping, live music.
Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival 2017 brings thousands of people to the Kennebunkport area and is one of Maine’s longest-running, juried craft festivals. Add in ample parking, $8,000 in raffle prizes, an incomparable setting that you’re helping to preserve with your purchases at the show, and who wouldn’t want to attend?
The Wells Reserve at Laudholm is a National Estuarine Research Reserve listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Wells Reserve Laudholm Trust is committed to the protection of Maine’s precious, coastal environment.
If you’re a fan of fine arts and crafts – or just a great time at a spectacular Maine coast setting – then the Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival is for you. Don’t miss it!
