SARAH & ERIK, Innkeepers/Owners: Erik and Sarah Lindblom purchased the Captain Jefferds Inn in 2005. Erik immediately put his design and painting talent to work, creating the subtly inviting tones that are seen throughout the inn today. Throughout their years of ownership, gardens have been established, water features have been added and updates have continued regularly. Sarah put her marketing and community leader skills to work, eventually serving as the Kennebunkport Chamber President. Both skill sets have served the inn well.
RACHEL, Assistant Innkeeper: Amateur historian and descendant of a Mayflower passenger, Rachel sees to your comfort and needs from booking, through activity scheduling, and your departure. A life long Mainer from “the county” ask her about raking blueberries on her grandfathers farm. When she’s not at the Inn you can find her exploring the Kennebunks with her son.
CHRISTINA, Assistant Innkeeper: Now retired from many years in Christian education and business, Christina loves working with people and most importantly children. Over the years she has traveled to six foreign countries as a volunteer with organizations that offer help for the poorest of the poor. When she’s not here in the evenings with our guests, you might find her at the beach with her dog or some of her grandchildren.
MICHELLE, Head Housekeeper: Before, during, and after your stay Michelle is responsible for all the little details that make your stay perfect. Chocolates on the night stand, flowers in the room, fresh towels, linens, soap, shampoo and oh yeah, serving those yummy breakfasts!
KATIE, Housekeeper: In baseball there is the designated hitter, pinch hitter and clean up–Katie is all three for us and more. Quick with a smile and a “can do” spirit she does most anything we need from laundry to kitchen. Guests (and we) love our housekeepers!
CHRISTINA, Housekeeper: Being a hard worker has always come naturally to Christina. She exhibits qualities and characteristics that are associated with those of consistency and perseverance. Christina has been with us for eight years now and we are extremely fortunate to have such person our team.
SALMA, Housekeeper: Our beautiful granddaughter! Bubbly and effervescent she keeps it fun around the Inn. You may see her on weekends when school is in session. During the summer you’ll find her most any time helping out the housekeeping staff, running errands and picking up the slack where we need it.
